Polar Fabrics: Range
havvapolar™ range includes a diverse range of circular and warp knitted polar fabrics. Minky plush, common fleece, super soft coral fleece, sherpa, embossed velvet and other kinds of plush fabrics in different pile height and compositions.
Common characteristic of all polar fabrics are their 100% Polyester content. A base and lock yarn produces the polar fabric. Base fabric is usually Polyester FDY Semi-Dull yarn whereas pile yarn can be Polyester DTY or FDY, in semi-dull, bright or full dull lustres. The lustre of pile yarn defines the look of fabric surface.
Following knitting polar fabrics are subsequently subjected to a sequence of processes including dyeing, brushing, drying.
Types of Polar Fabrics
Polar fleece, often referred to as polar fabric is most common and economical type of fleece fabric available. One side brushed other side anti-pilling treated fleece fabrics are used in sportswear and outdoor performance fabrics.

MINKY fabric is type of plush polar fabric produced from Polyester or Polyester FDY. Different shapes of embossing can be given on fabric surface through heat appliaction upon fabric knitting and dyeing. +, dot, arrows are most common patterns applied on Minky polar fabric.
Minky polar is most widely used in kids accessories and fashion. Weights of 230-350 g/m2 we produce regularly in different colours.
Minimum order quantity for Minky plush is 500 kg/colour. Lead time is usually 2-3 weeks.
Coral fleece is super soft, bulky and lustrous type of plush fabric made of 100% Polyester yarn. Coral fleece fabric finds use in throws, blankets and various other textile accessories.
Our coral fleece range includes weights of 180-350 g/m2 with 100+ colour options readily available.
Different pile heights can be adjusted for specific end use. Higher pile coral fleece offers a cozy and warm touch for home textile and outdoor apparels.
Minimum order quantity for coral fleece is 500 kg/colour, pile height is totally adjustable based on specific order.
